Junior Club Championship | 10:30 a.m. TT Junior Club Championship | 10:30 a.m. TT Format: Stroke Play Tees: Boys Championship Flight – Granite (Blue) tees – 18 Holes Girls Championship Flight – Cobble (green) tees – 18 Holes Mackenzie Division – Nugget ( Copper) tees – 18 Holes Cobble Division – OAK Tees– 9 Holes Pebble Division – ACORN– 5 Holes (1-5) Schedule: Tee times start at 10:30 a.m. Local Rules: The Rules of Golf shall govern all play except where modified by the local rules listed below: All paved and non-paved cart paths are considered immovable obstructions and relief may be taken, one club length from the nearest point of relief no nearer the hole. The 14-club rule is in effect. Out of bounds is marked by white stakes/lines or perimeter walls and fences. Any ball crossing the entry road is out of bounds even if coming to rest on another part of the course. The practice greens behind #9 and #18 and to right of #7 are designated practice area, free relief is mandatory no nearer hole. Yellow Penalty Areas are marked by yellow lines and/or stakes. Red Penalty areas are marked by red lines and/or stakes. Additional (and optional) relief is available for balls lost to the right of #15 if deemed to have crossed the margin of the lateral hazard. The DZ may not be used for balls that fail to clear the margin of the penalty area in front of the teeing area. Relief is granted from immovable irrigation objects within 2 club lengths of green, if in line of play and within 2 club lengths of the ball, ball not in penalty area. Relief is granted nearest point, no nearer the hole and must be dropped. Ground Under Repair is marked by white painted lines. If not marked by white lines, newly sodded and seeded areas are also to be treated as Ground Under Repair. Distance only measuring devices are allowed for the competition. Devices that measure slope and wind speed are not allowed. Competition Rules Committee: Kyle Butterfield, Ryan Citarella and Michael Nicoletti. Please return scorecards to Cobble Café Patio at the completion of your round. Granite Bay Par 3 Challenge Wednesday, April 8 | 3 p.m. Shotgun Entry Fee: $20 | Guests of Members: $50 Kick off one of the biggest weeks in golf with our Granite Bay Par 3 Challenge! In celebration of the year's first major, we're turning our course into a 9-hole Par 3 showdown, where the only game in town is Closest to the Pin. You can bring your own pairings, and while you might shoot an 18, the real question is—can you dial it in and stick it close? LGA Trophy Day
LGA Play Day | 9:00 a.m. Shotgun Trophy Day is a GBLGA tournament which runs March-November each year. It is individual no cost play. Each month there are 1st low gross, 1st low net and 2nd low net winners. The finals are held in November, where each of the three monthly winners from March-October are eligible to participate. There will be a 1st low gross and 1st low net winner in the November final. All monthly place winners and November finals winners will receive cash payouts at the end of year GBLGA luncheon. This is a great way to challenge yourself a bit more than usual, play golf in an ‘in house’ competition, improve your golf skills and make new friends. Sign up on the Invited App or with the pro-shop by noon on the Sunday prior to the Trophy Day. Pairings done by the Pro Shop. A minimum of 4 players must play a Trophy Day for there to be declared winners. Scores will be posted by the Pro Shop as ‘C’ Competition. Players can play regular Tuesday play on Trophy Days, just put in the notes section on the app when you sign up “not playing in Trophy Day”.

Library Check Out: Book Club Social Organizer Liz Hoffsten has thoughtfully provided two copies of April's read that can be checked out from the Book Club! They are available at the Front Desk for lend and we ask if you can return at the Book Club meeting after your finished reading For those who wish to dive deeper, we’re also offering Sacred Contracts by Caroline Myss as an optional second read. This book is more intensive and thought-provoking, ideal for members ready for deeper exploration and reflection. For anyone tackling this additional book, we will host a casual follow-up discussion the following week to explore it more in depth. April will meet in Colt Room I (meeting space may rotate based on availability). This program is for Junior Golfers that play in local or national golf tournaments. It is for ages 8 to 15 years old. We will work on skills to continue to lower scores. This is a monthly program the dates for April will be Tuesday 7, 14, 21 (4:30-5:30) and an on the course play day Tuesday the 28th (4:30pm start)

Granite Bay GC Men’s Senior Association Wednesday Play Day We have regular Wednesday morning T-times starting at 9:00am that are blocked for senior men’s play (Age 55 and older). You can choose to play either 9 or 18 holes. (When playing 18 holes you have the option of participating in some friendly competition using your handicap index). Sign ups can be made by referencing Senior Association Wednesday when using the INVITED APP or by calling the Pro Shop (916) 791-5379. Granite Bay Par 3 Challenge Wednesday, April 8 | 3 p.m. Shotgun Entry Fee: $20 | Guests of Members: $50 Kick off one of the biggest weeks in golf with our Granite Bay Par 3 Challenge! In celebration of the year's first major, we're turning our course into a 9-hole Par 3 showdown, where the only game in town is Closest to the Pin. You can bring your own pairings, and while you might shoot an 18, the real question is—can you dial it in and stick it close? Contest: Closest to the Pin on every hole | Prizes awarded based on overall rankings from the 9-hole winners Handicap: None | Different tees available for all skill levels This is a fun, laid-back event designed to get us all in the spirit of the season's first major. LGA Trophy Day
LGA Play Day | 9:00 a.m. Shotgun Trophy Day is a GBLGA tournament which runs March-November each year. It is individual no cost play. Each month there are 1st low gross, 1st low net and 2nd low net winners. The finals are held in November, where each of the three monthly winners from March-October are eligible to participate. There will be a 1st low gross and 1st low net winner in the November final. All monthly place winners and November finals winners will receive cash payouts at the end of year GBLGA luncheon. This is a great way to challenge yourself a bit more than usual, play golf in an ‘in house’ competition, improve your golf skills and make new friends. Sign up on the Invited App or with the pro-shop by noon on the Sunday prior to the Trophy Day. Pairings done by the Pro Shop. A minimum of 4 players must play a Trophy Day for there to be declared winners. Scores will be posted by the Pro Shop as ‘C’ Competition. Players can play regular Tuesday play on Trophy Days, just put in the notes section on the app when you sign up “not playing in Trophy Day”.

Each month features a carefully selected, often theme-inspired read designed to spark connection and lively discussion. April's selection is 'Animal Farm' by George Orwell We invite you to read along and join the conversation! With Easter approaching and many members traveling to spend time with family, we’ve chosen a timeless and approachable read that can easily be completed in one or two sittings. Library Check Out: Book Club Social Organizer Liz Hoffsten has thoughtfully provided two copies of April's read that can be checked out from the Book Club! They are available at the Front Desk for lend and we ask if you can return at the Book Club meeting after your finished reading For those who wish to dive deeper, we’re also offering Sacred Contracts by Caroline Myss as an optional second read. This book is more intensive and thought-provoking, ideal for members ready for deeper exploration and reflection. For anyone tackling this additional book, we will host a casual follow-up discussion the following week to explore it more in depth. April will meet in Colt Room I (meeting space may rotate based on availability). Make an evening of it by pairing Book Club with Wine Down Wednesday where you can enjoy half-off select bottles of wine, and take advantage of Parents & Kids Night Out, featuring complimentary on-site child care with crafts and fun so you can relax and connect.
